A celebration of Life and Death. Combining Science and Fantasy.
Today we celebrate the birthday of one of Maths greatest thinkers and the death of Folklores greatest writers, Issac Newton and Jakob Grimm. They had opposing philosophies of life, one taking the path of understanding the other learning about the mysteries and unexplained.
I tried to connect both the realist and the dreamer with their most defining object, the Apple. In Newton’s case his greatest discovery gravity, and Grimm’s with one of his most beloved stories Snow White and Red Rose. The apple in front is Newtons gift, and the cup slowly poisoning the apple.
The eternal battle between belief and proof.
